Breakfast Cereal
3/4 cup (of if you are Greg 2 cups) cereal (lately our favorite has been Life cereal)
1 cup milk (we prefer skim but if my parents buy 1% we'll use it - we aren't snobs)
Pour cereal into a bowl (I prefer a glass one - not plastic or paper), follow by pouring milk into the bowl.
Use one spoon and voila! (I prefer a small spoon - Greg prefers a soup spoon).
*ktc* tip - shove your face and then run out the door to catch the bus.
I wish I could say that we are joking - but this is about the extent of our cooking right now. . . except last night we did heat up some leftovers (previously made by the workhorse) so I guess you could say we are microwave connoisseurs.

I think your recipe sounds delicious. So delicious in fact, that I followed it this morning, although I must admit my execution was closer to Ross's than yours.
Like Ross, I also prefer a large spoon. Who knew we would have so much in common? As a child I had a variation of this recipe where I would use regular Cherios, but before adding milk I would drizzle the crunchy Os with Hershey's Syrup, making the milk left in the bowl chocolaty delicious. YUM!!
This is the kind of recipe I can handle! Life cereal is good -- Cinnamon Life cereal is better -- and Cinnamon Toast Crunch is best (except that their current commercial is so stupid it makes me want to poke my eyes out). I'm also going through a Strawberry Mini Wheats craze. Those things are delicious.
Well I'm glad my recipe is a success- but I can't believe that none of you have referred to Mikey - you know the guy who said "Mikey likes it" but then later ate pop rocks and drank sprite and apparently caused his stomach to explode. I hope Ross doesn't do something like that.
Abby--I also HATE the current Cinnamon Toast Crunch commercial. The one with the girl and the dog? I mean, get serious! It could make someone unfamiliar with their product question it's deliciousness. I just think it's a mistake.
Funny, Todd.. Adam still does the chocolate syrup thing with any non-sugary cereal. I have been trying to tell him only kids do that and you have just proved my point. Nice to know that the kid version of Todd and the Adam of today have so much in common.
This post is making me want to have cereal for lunch.
I prefer just not to give my children breakfast and let them beg for saltines out of their teacher's desk drawer. I will try to commit this fab recipe to memory though and see what I can do. As always, you are there for me.
The breakfast of champions at our house is cheerios with water. That is Travis's pick, not really my thing but it keeps him going.
That is my all time favorite recipe but sometimes I like to challenge myself and put two slices of bread in this great little contraption that toasts it for you in minutes and then spread about a 1/4 tsp butter and if you want to get really crazy sprinkle a little cinnamon on top--serve with milk or o.j. on the side-Bamm!!
You better add me to your list because you are now on mine and there is nothing you can do about it!!
Yes, Lindy! That's the one. It makes me so uncomfortable. Big, big mistake General Mills.
Where did you find Stanley cereal?! That's way awesome! It would be cooler though if it came with the "Great Big Book of Everything", ours is getting a little torn up.
