It is the eleven days of awesomeness . . . that is 11 days where we us "Pink Ladies" get to celebrate Pook (aka Christina - and even though we have the same name we aren't twins). I have arranged a collage of her being awesome. But really, if I was to arrange a real collage of all her talents it would a) take forever and b) not be terrible fun to look at. I will now name only a few of her amazing talents: 1) Look at that hair - seriously her hair is like one of those play-doh dolls and grows so fast it is ridiculous, 2) She is a really good mom - look at her pushing her kids in the swing - that screams awesome mom, 3) she is one of my most favorite people in the world (sorry, Ross) - honestly this is a girl that I have been friends with since 7th grade - I so desperately wanted to be her friend in 7th grade that I couldn't think of anything to say to her so I just said, "That's cool that you wear Guess jeans all the time" - thank goodness she let me in and decided to be interested in me even if that was a lame friend pick-up line, 4) for some reason in high school we went to St. George for something and we ended up watching "Grease 2" literally a jillion times. But it was worth it - because that is a really good movie and a comes with a really good soundtrack - it still is. I think tomorrow I will listen to it in honor of her birthday, 5) she is the most loyal, giving person I know, 6) no one is more talented with a pair of scissors . . . no one, 7) Look at those bangs - she is a trendsetter! (when did you get those they look great?) 8) she set the trend of living in Chicago . . . if only we could live here at the same time!
On a sidenote - I love the middle picture of Pook - it is almost a glamour shot - if only it were a real one!
Another sidenote - I am so so so so so lucky that I get to be friends with these really cool people - and sure I am not in a lot of these pictures because "one of these kids is doing her own thing" but I would have been if I lived within 50 miles. Anyway - back to Pook - she is awesome - Happy Birthday! - feel free to comment on her awesomeness.

Happy Birthday Pook! I'm so sorry I don't know you, because boy do you look like fun! I mean I love the bangs, and don't even get me started on the pushing the kids in the swing. I hope that you have an excellent birthday. Also, you don't look a day over 19, so that's probably what you're turning. You should feel free to tell people that you're 19. Keep being awesome!
This is my first comment on ANY blog- EVER (I hope that doesn't blow anyone's cover who is going for 19). This monumental posting means A- I love Kris Tina B- I love Christina C- This birthday tribute is darling- love it! D- "I love you guys!"
Well Let me add to this birthday post. I tell you anyone who produces children as beautiful as those deserves a daily ode! I just want to squeeze those chubby little thighs. I also am sorry I don't know you, but Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday, Pook! I'm also sorry I don't know you -- particularly in light of how photogenic you are. That on-the-go glamour shot is great. I hope you have a great birthday and that 19 is as good to you as it has been to me (every time).
First off, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, POOK! Secondly, why does everyone call you Pook? I'm sure there must be a comical story behind this name. Thirdly, don't you find it frustrating that everyone still thinks you are 19? I know I do. The truth is I don't even look 19. I look more like I'm 24...25 tops. Maybe it's our bangs that keep us looking so good.
Also, I'm not sure what to say about Shana threatening to squeeze your child's thighs. All I can tell you is that it's not that hard to get a restraining order. Trust me, I'm got hundreds of them.
I know I'm a little late but an official HAPPY BIRTHDAY Spooky (even her nickname "Pook" has nicknames!)
Peem, loved your Pook highlight. Just know that we miss having you within 50 miles and that on many occasions there is an empty seat when we go out to eat and we all mournfully look at it and know that we are not complete :)...cheesy but true...even cheesier because I just reread this paragraph and it totally rhymes...eat, seat, complete.
