I'm totally copying Amy and posting some "regular life" pics today. Because really - I don't have much to say - oh except today was the last day of classes for the semester (yay!) and I totally made sure that all my classes today gave me some applause. Yesterday my class didn't - and I walked out feeling like a failure. I like the applause. What can I say? I also like US Weekly. Anyway . . . .
Regular life around here consists of the following:
A messy counter and our Christmas tree ladder (and star wars Christmas tree) - we are very festive around here.
Some treats from Costco. (The other night I dreamt that someone asked me why I looked like I was still pregnant - the treat machine needs to shut down - but in the meantime. . . ) Have any of you tried these? Greg and I can't decide if we like them or what. The salt on the caramel makes it . . . intriguing.
Constantine's bedroom. Notice the ipad conveniently placed on the couch ready for me to watch "The Office" at any time. Does it make you feel bad for me to know that I am on episode 103 or something? That's a lot of Michael Scott at 3:00 am. A lot.
Our festive porch. Whoa those big ornaments really make us look ready for Christmas.
A place for Constantine and Greg to relax together and read the newspaper.
Constantine playing on his new activity mat courtesy of Lindy. He loves it.
And the reason why I can blog right now? Well, I just finished writing my final and Constantine is still snoozin' for a bruisin' - and yes - he has pink sheets on his bassinet because he keeps peeing out of his diaper and his manly sheets are in the wash. Good times.

That looks like some awesome regular life if you ask me. I can't wait to play on that mat with him - or read the newspaper. He needs to learn the joy of a newspaper once in a while in this digital age. Do you think paper newspapers will even exist by the time he can read . . . in about 18 months.
I loved looking at all these pictures. My favorite was Henry on the mat. He acts like he is really ready to play.
Um is that a heater by his bed? You haven't turned off the heat again right? :) I feel that regular life is not regular with a newborn, just saying. It is like a little hurricane that you love but wakes you up every 15 minutes and depends on your for constant milk supply. Not regular!
oh he is so sweet. I really love your big ornaments. Very festive. And he is so cute as a mini cougar fan.
Sorry I've missed so many of your blogs. I've been lazy and insisted on my own personal Henry pics to my phone. That is pretty great news for the boys about the heat. If you get too hot, just take some alone time on the porch now and then. I'm excited for H to have a mat and swing and a huge crocodile. He is so set up.
These pictures make everything look really peaceful over there...is it? :) He really is dreamy.
He is about the cutest, manliest thing I've ever seen. I'm super glad that you guys have a men's reading corner set up. And I'm even more glad that classes are out for the semester. I'm sure you still have stuff to wrap up, but hopefully you'll have a nice calm few weeks.
Wish I could see you in person!
He is such a cutie! Love all that dark hair. We need to get over there and meet the little prince. And I can totally relate to the Office episodes, except for me it was books. I can't even count the amount of books I went through while nursing.
I'll tell you right now, The Office is better than QVC which is what I watched with Alex and the twins. And the caramels...I'm just not sure either. I like the idea, and I think refined people with good taste like them, so I feel like I should, but I just don't know. I love his nursery and I just need to point out how GOOD it smells. Henry is super cute.
Would you say those pink sheets are more blush or bashful? Either way, it's clearly his signature color.
Real men wear pink... oh gosh, that baby is SO stinkin' cute!! Today Jacob was playing with a "pretend" curling iron at the little playgroup we go to. Oh well, curl away, Jacob. :)
