So as part of our newborn lockdown we are finally enjoying all those movies we meant to see this summer but just didn't get around to it. For example, this past weekend we watched, "The Help." Having read the book I was excited to see the movie. Greg? Not as much. But I will say this . . . he liked it a lot more than he thought he would.
However . . . Greg's favorite part about this movie was the discussion and shots of fried chicken. He even started looking up recipes and directions on how to make his own. Apparently this craving was insatiable because the next night he went out and bought himself a family meal of the stuff from KFC (it's not KGC as much as they want it to be).
Ladies and Gentlemen, this bucket was empty by the next morning - and I didn't have a single piece.
Impressive.

What the...? Kitty you are sitting around the house all day and not cooking meals from scratch? Ross needs a feast ready for him at the table when he comes home from a hard day's work. They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach and you are letting the Colonel win him over with his tasty deep fried poultry. Don't give up without a fight!
Dude - there is NO WAY I am going to fry up some chicken for him. If this is all it takes - Greg and the Colonel can be very happy together.
Reading this, I want some KFC it looks so good and I think I can even smell it.
KFC is pretty much the bomb. When in a pinch though, Albertson's/Fresh Market's fried chicken meal will fill the void. Holy snot, that sounds good right now. A lot better than our pancake dinner. I loved that movie BTW, even without ever reading the book. Cried like a crazy person.
Loved the book. Loved the movie. Love me some Kentucky FRIED Chicken...c'mon, Greg; be a man and get the fried stuff. ;) Only Kidding. I'm thinking the Colonel needs to join us for dinner...soon!
