Today I'm grateful that finally - finally - finally - we gave Constantine a real name. Sure, the hospital was discharging us as we were rushing to fill out the birth certificate information but we did it. We decided. And we are getting used to it. We finally decided that we needed to take the advice of one of our friends that simply said, "You know, it really doesn't matter what you name your child - they'll fit the name and you'll think there is no other name for them. It may take a couple of years - but it will happen."
So . . . introducing. . . . ELVIS.
aka Henry Michael - but Elvis is a little more fun

This is the most awesome picture. ever. Henry Michael is darling, darling, darling. Is it Danklef? Carldlef? Carlston-Danklef?
Oh Danklef all the way. As Greg says, "Kitty, you are so magnanimous in allowing our son to have our last name." That's right, I feel pretty good about myself.
Oh dear...I just really, really like him. I love his name, and his hair, and his giant eyes that I think are under those slits. He is great, you guys! What the heck is "magnanimous"?
Sincerely,
your dumb friend
Congrats, he's really cute! I hope things are going well. It can be kinda rough there at first! ;)
Oh good. I'm glad you went with that name!
And yet, he kind of does have Elvis hair.
Henry was the name of one of my cabbage patch dolls. It's always been a favorite.
Henry! I'm so glad you went with that name. But you did have me a little scared that you really did name him Elvis! :)
He's perfect.
For a nano-second there I really thought you actually named him Elvis. Hey, I have a friend that just named her daughter Mabel so I figured anything was possible.
He's a keeper. Congrats!
