I chose to not take a picture of myself also covered in spinach, pineapple, berry smoothie. No one needs to see that. The best part is - right before I did this Greg says, "Kitty don't do it - don't do it without the cover." I didn't even respond but thought in my head, "I'll show him how awesome my vita-mix is and I will do it without the cover to show that he is worrying senselessly." Well the joke was on me. I accidentally had it on "high" - there's no stopping the vita-mix when it is at that level. No stopping.

This is what happens when you try to be awesome

Whoa!! I think you are holding out on us by not posting a picture of you covered in whatever that mess was. You know we all want to see that. What made you think you should try operating that contraption without the lid?

Lady, you make me laugh.
I really did think that if it was on the lowest of low settings - it would be fine. And honestly, it would have been - but instead I had it on the highest of high settings. Because I am a dumkompf. Totally. To make things worse - it wasn't even that delicious.
I can't say I'm surprised that this blender made a huge mess. It looks like it's from about 1952. Get something new and cool that doesn't throw up on you.

I mean, even though IT wasn't delicious, I'm sure YOU are a different story. :-)
