Resolution - update

I, obviously, need more to blog about. Here's the resolution stats:

1)Watch more television - I really am not succeeding on this one. Not at all. Instead I have been doing one of the following: a) sleeping b) working c) reading. Not cool. But I have read a couple of great books: In the Time of the Butterflies (excellente!) and I just started "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" about a serial killer that kills other serial killers -I totally recommend this book to Kristal and Bre - totally- and I am only on page 12.

2) Fire our realtor - so so close - but no cigar. We decided to put an offer in on a house that he showed us - so we didn't feel like we could fire him . . .yet. If this offer doesn't go through (it's a short sale house so who knows) then we are totally over him. No question.

3) Display more knitted/macrame projects - well I did show off the awesome owl. I've got a Valentine's day project that will knock your socks off. Well, no, not really, but I really do require ooohs and aahs by others so I'll continue to display my creation prowess. I'm selfish and egotistical that way - so . . . more to come.

4) Clean my office. Sort of. I'm busy right now - I can't help it. Last night I made Ross stay late at work - he watched "the office" on the computer while I tried to straighten up. It looks better but I don't expect huge improvement until after January.

5) Wash face. Check. I ran into Lily last night at the store - even she complimented my skin. I give total credit to the triple O. (Not Oprah, oil of olay!)

6) I've decided that I won't be giving up diet dr. pepper anytime soon. Maybe later - but right now - it's just not worth it.

On a sidenote - I think I should make a resolution to lose important things - yesterday I lost my phone (now recovered - thank goodness).

I would prefer it is you made a resolution NOT to lose important things.

Read "Darkly Dreaming Dexter", then hand it to G! (Ross, whoever), then watch "Dexter" (the CBS version is broadcast OK, the Showtime version not so much). Season 1 is very closely adapted from the first novel, which was awesome.

I hear both those books are great (and I love "Dexter"), but the last book you told me to read (also great) was The Book Thief. Are you in a dark/sad place right now???
