1) This morning we realized we had no bread to make sandwiches for lunch. Nor any fruits or vegetables or really any cereal. Looks like someone is going to the grocery store this weekend (hopefully Greg - as this is my least favorite activity in the history of the universe).
2) Greg's softball team remains defeated. That is, they haven't won one game . . . yet. Maybe if I went to the games I could be like Glenn Close in "The Natural" and stand up in a white dress and hat and help Greg hit a home run and they would win the game - but that would require me going to the game.
3) We watched Uncle Buck last night - for some reason I love that show - and when he flips those pancakes with a huge shovel or gives a quarter to the principal to have a rat gnaw off her mole I can't help but think "this is pure comedy!"
4) I am stressed. If you want to know all about it - just call me - I'll talk your ear off. I am so stressed that I have two beautiful zits right between my eyes. Today my secretary asked me what was wrong. I told her it was just "dry skin" (because really that is what it looks like - nevertheless, not attractive).
5) We did a workout called "The Filthy Fifty" this week. I am still recovering and still sore . . . and I am much better at doing double jump-ropes than Greg. No big surprise I was the jump rope queen in elementary school.

(a) I can totally believe that you were the jump-rope queen. That's probably where you were first named "coolest girl in the world."
(b) I think as a wife it is your duty to provide Ross with "The Natural" moment that you described. Think of how proud he'd be getting up from his game-winning Pete Rose slide to see you standing there with tears in your eyes. I think you owe it to him -- and pictures to us.
(c) I completely agree on the grocery shopping thing. In fact, after Ross finishes your shopping, would you send him down here to do mine? I would totally tip him -- I've got a few dollar bills in my wallet.
I also hate grocery shopping. Absolutely hate it. I don't know why it is such a dreadful activity, but it really is.
Keep up the good blogging!
I LOVE grocery shopping. I am such a shopper that even shopping for food gives me satisfaction. Maybe it is because I love food so much. T, I would love to do your grocery shopping for you. Did you get the zits FROM stress or did the zits CAUSE the stress. You weren't really clear, how can I go on unless I know?
I'm with Christina, shopping (even for groceries) is fun. Spending money is jsut a good time. Who wouldn't like that?
As I recall, you were not bad at hopscotch, chinese jumprope, and "We don't like people who...-"game" either.
Yeah! I found you through Squid's blog. Ok, you still make me laugh out loud. I've missed you! I'm sure you'll be hearing from me a lot more often now that I know you haven't fallen off the face of the earth. (Thanks GOODNESS!)
