Weekend Wrapup

Finally, it has happened . . . I have absolutely nothing to blog about. Maybe because it is the blah of winter but I am out of ideas. Fresh out. But I guess (to get the ball rolling and hopefully break my blog block) I'll blog about our weekend - after all we both definitely work for the weekend. Here is what we/I did:
Relax
Went to go see Juno (I really liked this - kind of adult - not in a naughty way just in an adult way)
Worked out
Relaxed some more
Made some disgusting Sunday dinner from a recipe in the Real Simple magazine - we ended up throwing it away
Took Ross to the airport to go to New Orleans
Read/Listened to Harry Potter book seven (I know I should be reading the book club book but MAN, this book is awesome and I just want to enjoy it instead of racing through it)
Went to Costco - looked at the check out line and walked right out
Watched American Gladiators
Knitted an ipod cozy that is pretty awesome
Ate some ice cream (which I shouldn't have but I did because that way we can throw it out and we won't buy anymore).
Yeah, it was a pretty awesome weekend. Pretty awesome indeed.

What do you mean? That blog was amazing. It's nice to know that you and Greg are regular people. It was refreshing. Kind of like seeing Reese Witherspoon buying her groceries or Tom Cruise putting gas in his car. Thank you from all the regular people out there. -CARRIE

That sounds like a dreamy weekend, just dreamy--especially Harry Potter 7. I love that book. I watched parts of the first Harry Potter movie while preparing stuff for sharing time., which brings me to a question that has haunted me for some time now. What ever happened to the witty, charismatic Ron we came to know and love from the first Harry Potter movie? Ron got a little whiny in second movie, but I was okay with it because who wouldn't be whiny when facing spiders that size? But from the third movie on, he's been whiny, lifeless and a little sullen.

I know this has less than nothing to do with the subject of the post. I'm just saying.

Abby--I like to blame it on teenagerhood, or as my mom unfortunately says about teenage boys, "He is just getting a huge shot of testosterone." Don't worry--she had something equally as gross to say about girls, "She's going through puberty," prompting us to refer to it as the statue of puberty. Sickening.
