Ode to Ross and his stand up comedy

Ross loves, no LOVES this joke (remember, he did have the aspiration of being a stand-up comedian at one time). I found it on a t-shirt. I was tempted to buy it for him but then I looked in the closet and realized the following:

a) He has a jillion t-shirts

b) I don't want to waste money on another one.

Oh I like it! I think that Ross would have been an excellent stand up comedian. He could at least give Kathy Griffith a run for her money.

Lindy, I'm not really sure what you mean by that Kathy Griffin comment, but I don't appreciate it. Kathy is a fiery riot who knows all sorts of A-list celebrities.

Kitty, I think we need to give Ross a chance to follow his dreams of stand-up awesomeness. Why don't you turn your loft into a comedy club on Friday nights. You can call it Friday Night Live. He can do his stand-up comedy and we can put on amazing skits about current events. It will be awesome.

I think y'all should definitely turn the apartment into a comedy club but why not pick a name more fitting for your Chicago location like The Other Second City or something related to Oprah. She might even put you on her network!

I like what Abby's saying about Oprah--I think that's really our ticket to the top. Maybe something that has to do with Steadman or The Color Purple.

Oprah doens't have time to laught right now. She is too busy buying up networks. Soon she will control all that we see and hear.

And can you think of anyone better to do it? At least then the airwaves will be controlled by someone with some sense and we can stop listening to all the nonsense being spouted by the crazies on NPR, CNN, and FoxNews.

Um, isn't it a bit blasphemous to call NPR crap?

Ross has told many a good joke around me - I think he would be better than Kathy Griffith or Oprah (at comedy, not drama, of course).

What is wrong with you people. Her name is GRIFFIN, not Griffith and she is hilarious!
