Reading Round-up (7-1)

So what did I do in June? Apparently, the only thing was read. I may be behind in all other aspects of my 2013 goals but as for reading - I'm really knocking it out of the park. Here are my quick reviews:

Born To Run : Non-fiction that you would think is fiction. So interesting. Read it.
How To Win Friends & Influence People: A classic but in all honesty - not that awesome. I didn't love it.
Daring Greatly: I would like to read this - chapter by chapter - with a good therapist who would help me see exactly how this applies to my life. But really - beautiful. It has given me a ton to think about. Read it.
Gulp.: So interesting. Why is it that people don't mind the smell of their own gas but HATE anyone else's? See, these are things I learned. I also learned all about prison smuggling in bodily cavities as well as drug mules. Read it.
Crucial Conversations: The 16 hour training is better than the book.
The Power of Everyday Missionaries: So practical and so great. After finishing it I immediately requested that Greg read it - STAT. I'm still thinking about it.
From Lemons to Lemonade in the New Legal Market: I'm going to use this book for one of the classes I teach. It had some fantastic ideas whether you are interested in the legal market or not.
State of Wonder: So great . . . until the last 20 or 30 pages at which point the book went off the rails and into the forest and then stumbled into the lake. What the heck? I loved it . . . until I didn't.
