weekend wrap-up (4-11)

This weekend was off the hook.

It started off pretty great with some organizing:
(I am currently obsessed with Henry in overalls. Obsessed.)

We then decided that Henry needed some culture. So we hit up "The Tempest." Who knew that Henry would love Shakespeare so much? True confession - I didn't understand a word - it might as well have been in Japanese. But then, after it was over, I read the synopsis and realized, "Oh - that's what was going on - now it makes sense."
(pic shamelessly taken from my sister's blog since I took zero pictures).

Oh we also hit up the pot party. Get your mind out of the gutter - you take your pots to the nursery and buy some flowers and they fill your pots up dirt to plant. Our goal this year is to keep the planters alive all summer. Trust me - this is a big goal for us.

Saturday we ran nine miles (because we are awesome like that). Hit up a baptism, went for a walk, and then took a few prom pics.

This was then followed up with my cousin's wedding. Henry thought he was pretty much a part of the wedding party and played on the stairs at the reception as if he owned the place.

(If Henry's hair was a little more red you would think these guys were his brothers).

And finally, Greg and I subbed in nursery on Sunday. I don't want to say that I would hate being put in the nursery (because if I do that is like a guarantee that I will be put in the nursery) but oy vey that is a rough job. Henry came along (he is 1 month shy of being "official"). All the other kids are at least 7 months older than he is . . . so he seemed like a baby baby baby. But really - he was pretty intrigued by the whole business.

(see - overalls - again - obsessed)

What a WEEKEND!!! Yeah, overalls are crazy cute. Wish I still had some of Alex's old ones to give H. I know...that's OLD, but MAN, they were cute.

You know I hate to judge, but who wears shorts to a wedding and overalls to church? I can already see Henry spending the summer wearing man-pris and fedoras.
