You ever just feel like that? Not just a day - one of those weeks. I'm sitting here thinking - what do I need? I need a boost. Maybe General Conference is going to be just the boost I need. Maybe it will come from getting some good sleep. Maybe I'm just having, "we're back from Portland and now it's real life and real work and I'm behind on everything." Maybe I'm sad about finding a new babysitter (I'm thrilled to find a new one just sad to say goodbye to the one I've got). Or maybe it's just that it is fall and the seasons are changing and it is getting darker earlier.
Don't worry - all is well. And really all my problems are one percenter problems. Wait- I just had an epiphany - there is a bag of delicious candy sitting in my office that needs eating. Maybe that's my problem - I just need some good old fashioned sugar and flour . . . cinnamon rolls? Yes, please.

I'm sorry you're in the dumps. I hate it there. It's way worse than Portland. :( Sugar WOULD help, then you'd feel crappy. I love the pictures. That second one is one of the sweetest things ever.

Krissi, I am with you, I feel the same exact way except I haven't been to Oregon. I just feel so overwhelmed with this big calling and probably because of the change of seasons and probably because our house in St. George is such a mess and it is going to cost so much money to put it back together. When you feel like this it makes you feel guilty that you even feel this way because there are so many more that are out there that have things so much worse. Love you, love the pictures. If you feel like cinnamon rolls will help, I am your girl. They always help me feel better. But you probably should stick with your no sugar no flour thing. Because you are amazing and you can do it:)
Sorry you were having a bad day. So sorry. I am learning that the food is unfortunately not the answer. I am a very slow learner. And you look so so great! Just look in the mirror= automatic cheer up.

Why Portland? I think that is totally at the root of all the trouble. You need a sunny destination! Tucson?

I even have my own copy of 'ALEXANDER and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day' so you wouldn't have to pack yours. Speaking of that though, maybe all you need is a new book to read to Henry? Something perkier? I think "The Baby Danced the Polka" rocks!
