the chronic

Someone (who shall remain nameless) posted on my facebook wall last night saying, "It's sad that the Carlklef Chronicles are no longer Chronicling." And to that I say - AMEN! It is sad. But doesn't it seem like a lot of people are no longer chronicling? Maybe that's just me - but really - I need to kick it up a notch. This is the only family history thing we've got going right now - and I need to capture the ridiculous and the mundane. I must.

Let's start with the awesome:
Henry's legs. Oh my goodness. If this picture doesn't make you want to just squeeze them - then you are a heartless, cruel person. Henry's sweet chubby thighs are everything that is right in the world wrapped up in a cinnamon roll.

His hair? Well, we don't really know what we are doing with it - but he has a HUGE bald spot in the back of his head so I say . . . let's keep it growing - because the Donald Trump comb-over look really is in right now.

As more proof that Henry really is just a plain angel baby - here is he being quiet (not necessarily reverent but at least quiet - at church):
And now for some news.

I volunteered Greg to take my co-worker's son's prom pictures this weekend. I really can't tell you how excited I am about this. I was almost hyperventilating at even the possibility of this happening. Because really - I LOVE this sort of stuff. I mean, this past weekend we almost went out to Payson (that's right Payson!) just so we could go to their beauty pageant. (Because we do love ourselves the completely ridiculous movie "drop dead gorgeous"). So awkward and uncomfortable and awesome - all at the same time. But prom pictures - oh it is practically a dream come true. We are going out this week to go and scout out locations. We take this non-paying job very seriously.

More chronicling to commence!

Darling, darling pictures of Henry. I could really just squeeze him so hard. Is Greg excited about this picture taking? If so, it sounds good to me. Let us know how it goes.

Oh gosh. Nothing is more entertaining than Utah County Prom. This is going to be SOOOOOO good. Perhaps a professional prom photography business could be in your future.

I do want to squeeze his legs.

Maybe FaceBook is edging out blogging. It seems the blogging rush is dying.

Go GREG! Sweet gig.I am totally jealous...but not really. You'll be great. :) Henry is a lovey boy. Just so sweet. When he smiles all huge at me, my eyes water. I need to chronicle more. Thanks for the reminder. Haven't posted in a month. Shoot.
