1) Lizzie Bright & the Buckminster Boy - I liked it but I didn't love it (but I love Rachel for recommending it!)
2) Never Eat Alone - I wish I was better at being a "connector". This had some great tips and insights but at the same time sometimes I found myself reading this thinking, "If I ran into this guy at a party - I would run - he sounds so annoying."
3) Hole In My Life - A great non-fiction read about a good kid who makes a stupid mistake and goes to prison for it. I heard him on my favorite npr news quiz (well, the only npr news quiz) - "Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me." His most recent book just won the Newbery Award.
4) Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? If I would have read/listened to this prior to Bossypants I probably would have liked it better. As is, I wanted it to be written from the standpoint of Kelly Kapoor - I think it would have made me laugh more.
5) Why We Broke Up - dumb. I would have stopped reading it but I got it from an interlibrary loan source and I felt like since the library went to so much work to get this book for me, I should read it.

ooh...good thing you said you loved ME, at least. ;) J/K I love the diversity of all these reads. I get boring sometimes and once I read an author I really love, I tend to just keep reading all their things. And YOU, my friend, introduced me to Gary Schmidt, who is SO GREAT! :)
So how many books have you read now? I just went to the Library and got "Caravan" -Dorothy Gillmore. It is supposed to be good. I am on page 25.
