1) We watched the movie, "The Debt" - with the exclusion of a few swears I must say - it was pretty good. Good enough that although I fell asleep while we were watching it - the next morning I finished it while on the treadmill.
2) I am continuing on my quest to read 52 books. This morning I just finished book #3. And none of them have been golden books - so there you go. I found a couple of blogs that usually give pretty good book recommendations and then I always have voracious readers Lindy and Abby to help me out - so far so good.
3) I don't know if I will ever knit again. I blame Henry.
4) I am eating healthy. While Henry was in utero I used that as an excuse to pretty much eat anything and everything in sight - oreos anyone? Well, unfortunately, all of that eating didn't go just to the baby. Junk. So I've been cooking - which I think Greg loves - even if the meals aren't always his favorite. I'm taking the high road and I have cut out sugar and flour. It's only been 11 days - but um who is counting?
5) Trying to figure out permanent childcare in P-town is hard. hard. hard. Does anyone know of anyone that runs a day-care? Anyone? Anyone? It's not ideal but it will do - and any day I suspect that Ed McMahon will be walking up my sidewalk to tell me that I've won the Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes. Any day. Oh wait - isn't Ed dead?
6) Lately, I've been losing all my scrabble games. I really need to focus.
7) You know how pregnancy/birth is supposed to thin your hair and stuff? At least someone told me that - well I have the exact opposite problem - I swear I am looking more and more like a chubby lion.
8) I ran (I use the term loosely) a 5k yesterday. The good news? My time can only get better.
9) I love watching reality tv lately. Oh goodness. Or in Rachel's words - white trash reality tv. Sure. I'll own up to it.
10) I have nothing more to say - but I wanted to end with ten things - so there you go.
And for good measure - here's a picture of my cute boyfriend. Sometimes I think he might love me - but then I realize that he is just using me for my milk.
This is Henry saying, "Hello Ladies"

I am so impressed that you ran a 5K! I talked to you like 3 times yesterday and I read it on your blog. Way to go! I made it to day 11 btw and had to start again. Blast. My friend Emily has had GREAT success in finding nannies on care.com. Give it a go. I am sure that someone took Ed's place. Henry is so dreamy. Glad we didn't bring him a fever. Anna woke up blazing hot last night.
You will knit again. Just when that head is too big for the baby hat your made him last. (Even though I have to admit I have only made one thing since Emery has been born, and she finally went to nursery today! My favorite way to tell people how old she is.)
Oh and Henry, I wish I could watch him everyday. He is so handsome!
SO cute I love that post. After Chayston was born I had the thickest, longest, massive hair. I cut it off like a boy and cried for months:( I have not read a book in years so you are way ahead of me:)
Join GoodReads. I have actually found several good book recommendations that way from friends. And then we can be friends!
I need to know the names off all of the books your reading, young lady! And I'm SUPER impressed that you ran a 5k. And I love your boyfriend.
1. I've never heard of this movie. When you say a 'few smears,' what does that mean, exactly?
2. If you have a killer book, will you pass it along via text? I am really missing me some good books lately.
3. Don't know what to say about knitting. :)
4. HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU COOK WITHOUT FLOUR AND SUGAR? I don't know if I have more than a few recipes without one of those things. I'd be interested to know how that's going. (Truly interested, NOT knocking you at all for doing it.)
5. Henry is welcome to stay with Neighbor Rachel a couple days a week when her children are not needing their chauffeur. :) Seriously.
6. I can't even get through a Scrabble game lately. Ethan gets bored after a few words and he's the only one that will play with me. Need a scrabble partner?
7. I'd rather be a chubby lion than a bald one. :)
8. Way to go on the running! With a baby, it's quite impressive that you did it at all. So pat yourself on the back for that.
9. Hey, we all need a little white trash in our lives now and then...just so we don't take life too seriously. It could be worse. We could be fighting off other cat-like gals over a man we know almost nothing about. (Or socially fighting for our lives on some island somewhere - I don't know what I'm going to do until this starts again.)
10. Of course he's using you for your milk. But how can you refuse when he has a face like that? (And that hair, OF COURSE!) I seriously want to know when the next white trash night is because I really really want to caress that hair. I guess I'll have to start asking Amy...
I miss you.
Join Carrie and I on Goodreads, I have a slew of good book recommendations on there. Laina says "Hi" to Henry. Actually she pointed at his picture and laughed, but I guess that's pretty close, right? And I'm totally impressed that you ran a 5k, I can barely find time to walk a mile once in a while. You go girl!
Oh Kris Tina, I love reading your blog.
and wow on the 5K! Holy cow. Katelyn was months old before I attempted that. Brandon is even more months old and I haven't even walked anything let alone ran it.
Knitting will come. I promise.
Wish I could lend a hand with the child care thing. Don't think you want a commute like that just to drop the kid off at a babysitter.
Great picture of your boy. So cute. and getting so big.
