I read an article in the onion about how ladies that birth naturally should feel morally superior to everyone else. I don't know about that. I look back on last night and think....that was pretty much the worst night of my life. There were many times where I said that I just couldn't do it. And if we are honest about everything the only reason I didn't end up with an epidural is because we showed up at the hospital at 8:50 am this morning and Constantine (still a placeholder name) decided to show up at 9:12 am. So while I did want to deliver naturally really what it comes down to is not that I am morally superior but really I am just bad at the timing of it all.
But really today I am very grateful for a healthy baby boy...with ten fingers and ten toes..19 inches long and 7 lbs 4 oz. And most importantly he has a healthy head of hair and we all know babies with hair are pretty much the bomb. It almost makes eating all those tums worth it.

Childbirth isn't easy, no matter how you look at it. It's hard, but it is so, so wonderful. I love your baby. Very, very excited to meet him. Yay Kitty!
