Today I'm grateful for bloggers ability to back post blogs. This happens every year - I get all excited about the month of gratitude and then things happen and then kaput. But don't fret - I'm back on it.
So for reals . . .
Today I'm grateful that Greg forced me to get out of the house. Let's call a spade a spade - I'm not the most patient person in the world and when 11/11/11 showed up I (foolishly) expected Constantine to arrive. When it became apparent that it wasn't going to happen, instead of handling things with grace and style, I got ornery. Even though I had said it pretty loud and clear that I would like to attend my Grandma's funeral - I also have made it pretty clear that 40 weeks pregnant is pretty much uncomfortable city. So instead of Greg allowing me to wallow in my pity party of uncomfortableness - we left the house - went shopping for more things for Constantine that he probably won't need but we feel better having - and tried out a great (spicy!) restaurant - Shabu Shabu House. The night ended with a delightful full pill of unisom (no halfs for me - I meant business) which allowed me to sleep. So there you go. Lucky me - a husband that knows that just because I'm ornery doesn't mean I'm not a delight to be around.
