The other day we saw this dog trying to drive the car. It reminded me of Shaggy D.A. - Oh how I loved/hated that movie.
Speaking of movies . . . it is one of the saddest things in my life that Greg refuses to join in on the Harry Potter band wagon of awesomeness. He won't read the books - he'll watch the movies (if absolutely nothing else is available) but that's it. I told him that not getting into Harry Potter is pretty much choosing to miss out on the "Star Wars" of the generation. Even that didn't do it. Oh brother!
I broke down and bought some m* clothes at gap online during one of their sales. My belly can breathe again. I still haven't told work but yesterday, I was looking in the mirror and couldn't help but think, "Who in the heck am I kidding?" Oh and it's a boy (allegedly). We have zero names picked out but we are happy to take suggestions. I can definitely tell you names that are OUT (despite what Greg says). These names include: Constantine, Adolph, Dieter, and Xander. Everything else, I guess, is up for grabs.
We are almost to the two week countdown of having those Elders move out. Sure, they haven't found a place for them yet but Greg assured me that on August 1st he is just going to take all of their stuff and move it on to the Stake President's lawn. I thought that sounded reasonable. Probably the Stake President will just be amazed that "Abraham" can carry heavy stuff.

OK, I laughed out loud through that entire post, starting wtih the picture! I LOVE animals doing people things!
If Ross doesn't want to ready HP then I think you should ground him from his legos. They are the best books in the world!
Tsk, Tsk, Ross. You strike me as a Harry Potter fan completely. You love it; you just don't know it yet.
Those books are for children. I am ancient days have no use for childish things.
The obvious solution is to buy Ross some Harry Potter Legos. His love for these children's toys will out weigh his distaste for HP and he will gladly accept them, thus starting his love affair with all things Harry Potter.
You're welcome!
I'm with Ross! I will also not be reading any of that Twilight trash-that's right-I said it...
Wow, wow, wow, easy. HP and Twilight are not even in the same category! HP is one of the greatest series ever written. Twilight is mindless drivel, however addicting it might be.
Thanks for the backup Haylee. You are totally right. Twilight and Harry Potter are just not up to my exceptionally high standards.
Todd, you may have me with the HP/Lego combination . . . I'm going to have to check that out and just like Bentley, I will leave that with a . . .
Get Greg the audio Harry Potter books ready by Jim Dale. He can listen to them while moving out the elders' loot!
Seriously, Jim Dale should get some spotlight just like Daniel Radcliff or whatever that bloke's name is. THE MOST AWESOME audio voice in literature.
Why don't you name your lil' guy Harry Potter to motivate Greg to get to know the kid's "namesake"?
Then again, in honor of the ornery Greg...maybe it should be Draco or Lucius Malfoy? Valdemort?
Greg does NOT know what he is missing.
Speaking of, have you seen that BYU divine comedy video "Firebolt" on YouTube? I about fell out of my chair laughing. I think you should sing your next blog entry...WITH video footage. That would make my day (my week, my life....) I had to watch Katy Perry's original music video to really appreciate it...(since I am anything but caught up with pop culture!)
oh geez. that post made me laugh. what, KT? you don't like adolph? i think it's a lovely name.
i know i'm not the one living with them, but i am pretty sad the elders are moving out of your house. please come up with any stories you can -- whether or not you think they're funny, because i promise you, they're funny.
Yay for boys! M* clothes shopping is always a drag. I just stick with walmart yoga gear and stretchy pants ;) I am up for sharing baby names too. We have a huge long list that my mom is mostly adding to at this point.
i truly don't know why you would be putting off the m* clothes.
seriously, just embrace the deliciousness that is elastic-waist pants. once you've been there, it's almost impossible to go back to regular old jeans. so binding.
How about Marty (Martin)?
