So our roommates moved out yesterday. Moved out. Gone - kaput. They left us a note telling us that they would be back on Monday to "clean." I think we are just going to tell them that we're good - don't worry about it - and then, of course, hire someone to come and clean it. I refuse to do it. For some reason - I feel kind of sad about it - like I just couldn't handle it so we had to get them out. I guess that's kind of true. But I never like facing the fact that at the end of the day . . . I am a woose/wuse.
To celebrate having our house to ourselves we did the following:
1) Turned on the air conditioning
2) I did laundry
3) I switched the laundry at 10:30 at night while only wearing my pajamas around the house! (it was kind of liberating)
4) We slept with our bedroom door open
5) I got the laundry out of the dryer this morning in only my pajamas! (again - so liberating)
I guess when you are reclaiming your house - it's really just the little things.
But now we have no excuse - time to get our house back in shape.

It was strange having just the two of us in the house last night. Strange and awesome. I had forgotten what it was like. Guess we better not get used to it . . .
It sounds like things are pretty awkward in the house now that the two of you are alone. Also, now you are spelling it wrong two ways. It's wuss. Make a note.
I will never spell woose/wuse/wuss correctly. It is part of my signature talents. Duh.
Things are a little awkward - but we're just going to have to get through it. Maybe we'll get company to come and visit.
Well, if anything can pull me out of my funk, it's this! Yay for you! I bet it feels amazing walking around in pajamas, not even a bit concerned about who or what is around the corner. I feel a huge party on that back porch brewing...and HEY, you've saved SO much on your AC up to this point, you could just keep the french doors open and fan the cool air out. Forget about ceiling fans. :)
