a quick poll

To you faithful readers we have a quick poll that needs to be answered. We recently "discovered" that the Elders have been using our laundry soap to do their laundry. According to the housing rules, we are to provide them with access to a washing machine and dryer on one specific day a week that they may have the private use of these facilities. Does this mean we are supposed to also supply them with soap/detergent?

Of course, upon the discovery that they were using said detergent - instead of asking them about it - I've just hidden the soap. But now . . . I'm feeling guilty. So here's the question . . . do we need to provide them with laundry detergent? Yay or Nay?

P.S. Last night we were in a pinch and we went to Chili's. UGH. I'm afraid that Chili's has joined our list of restaurants that we will not go to - the other restaurant currently on the list? Sizzler.

Who cares about soap!! How can you bury the lead story and then say such horrible and untrue things? As everyone knows I have a deep fondness for Chili’s. I love it so much, in fact, that I plan to give birth in one in the hopes that they will provide both me and my child with free meals for life. When I give said birth at my local Chili’s I would prefer that, instead of flowers and cute baby gifts, everyone come in and buy me an Awesome Blossom (heavy on the awesome). It’s that good!!

I'm afraid chili's has been black-listed for us as well. And it used to be a favorite! Applebee's is also on the list.

Elders can pay for detergent, for crying out loud. We did! At the very least they should have asked to use yours. Sheesh.

Maybe you should get Sunday paper and cut out a coupon and say, "hey I found this for you, I am sure you can use it" That will give them the hint to buy there own soap.

Laundry soap is part of every grocery list...just add it to their's. And I can only order certain items from certain Chili's locations. I generally don't love the 'everything-served' Applebee's/Chili's-type places.

How DARE you, Todd! I'm not saying I don't love Chilis, but impersonating me on the world wide web?

Lindy, I'm sure I don't know what you are talking about.

Oh please - it is clear as the zit on Toddcat's face that the first Lindy comment was by him. He loves to put in double exclamation marks. Lindy doesn't.

Kitty, you make me sick you are so stupid!!! (As you can see I prefer the TRIPLE exclamation mark, thus, blowing your theory out of the water.)

Re: your poll. Is there an option for a "HELL no"?

Hide the soap and don't look back. It'll get the message across just fine.:) I hope you'll still be my frind when I tell you that I love the boneless buffalo wings from Chili's. They give me heartburn before I even swallow my first bite, but I love them.

Please tell me that you did not eat at the Chili's in downtown SLC when there are plenty of more viable food options.

If I had known you were going to eat at Chili's last night, I would have forced more cookies on you.

I do not like Chili's it is toooooo greasy and just too much to eat. As for the soap, I would say they should have it on their grocery list.

Simple solution: fill empty detergent bottle with bleach and see what happens.

A couple sets of Elders back, one Elder informed me that they have so much money left over in their budget that they eat at Subway almost every day and half the time when they go to pay, someone else has already paid for them. I don't think money is an issue for them in this area.

So far I wholeheartedly agree with you about those two restaurants. Blech and double blech!

And keep hiding that soap my friend.

Your superfolous punctuation gives you away again, Todd! Too bad I can't spell superfolous. That would have been a better burn for sure.
