my weekend v. greg's

While Greg was partying it up on Topaz mountain with those scouts I decided to answer only to myself. What does this mean? I did zero cleaning, zero laundry, zero tidying up, zero socializing (including zero talking to the missionaries), zero television, zero cooking, zero yard work. Instead I read. I pulled out my lawyer fast reading skills and read two books while he was gone. Oh gosh, when I admit that it makes me sound extra lame and extra boring. But seriously - it was a delight. And then when Greg got home he took me to Gloria's. So really - it all worked out for the best.

Now, when I admit to you what I read - don't judge. But really - I haven't read any good books in so long that I was starting to wonder if I had forgotten to read. Don't worry, I still know how.

I read both of these books because, thanks to Entertainment Weekly, I learned that they are both turning into movies coming out this summer, and I thought, "why not?"

"Something Borrowed" (see trailer HERE) - a total beach read. 
"One Day" (see trailer HERE) - more intellectual than Something Borrowed but some people compared it to Time Traveler's Wife and I'm here to tell you - it is nowhere near as compelling or interesting. But it's still pretty good.
