Now that it is April . . .

Because I believe in full-disclosure - I need to up date the blog/those that care/my mother regarding my list of to-do's for March. I hope it isn't going to ruin the suspense if I tell you that I didn't get it all accomplished. But I did get kind of close. But really - close only counts in horseshoes.

Before I begin let me just say that Mr. Greg sent me this picture and said that it reminds him of me.  I'm a little insulted but not as insulted as when he blamed me for ruining the Elder's ukulele. Don't worry - their ukulele continues to keep on strumming.

1) Finish memorizing "The Living Christ" - I am one paragraph away!
2) Be able to do at least 1 unassisted pull-up (this might be a pipe dream) - this continues to be a pipe dream . . . but I'm closer than I was at the start of the month
3) Start taking piano lessons - no - I didn't do this but it continues to remain my wish
4) Sign up for a spring BY mountain biking class
5) Catch up with my baby gifts - I have about 4 baby gifts that I need to make and get sent out - but I have more to do so I guess this is only halfway crossed off
6) Print another bestseller (blog book 2008)
7) Print another bestseller (blog book 2009)  - and I did this for 2010 too! Yay!
8) Learn how to convert vhs tapes to dvd's - I have a name - I have an appointment so I'm close - really close
9) Organize 100 itunes songs on the mac - I didn't even attempt this one. FAIL!
10) Organize my messy jewelry (it's hard to treat it really well when it is purchased at forever 21) Thanks to my SIL and mother - yay!
11) Clean out [my half] of the closet - nope. Still needs to get done.
12) Finish two knitted oprah gifts (those winners - you know what I'm talking about). Still working on this. I know. I know!
13) Plan a vacation for 2011 - going to Moab and St. George doesn't count. So it's still being discussed. L-Nic and P-Morg - I wish you could just decide for us!
14) Paint the garage wall - boo-yah!
15) Buy a new duvet cover + sheets (some that have - *gasp* color!) Thanks to Linda Jane aka the workhorse we have a new duvet cover - still need some sheets but our bedroom actually has some color - kind of.
16) Read/listen to all of the apostle's talks before April conference. Close - but no cigar.
17) Get me a Utah driver's license (my Illinois one expires this month so I guess I better). Yep. Watch out Utah drivers - I'm legal.
18) Plan out the garden planting. Does thinking about this count?
19) Attend the temple three times. Not even close. Don't judge.
20) Get a sponsor to help me with all my bad habits. Still working on this.
21) Organize garage. This is halfway done - hence a halfway line through it.
22) Hardwood floor in family room. Nope. But I have emailed two different interior decorators asking for help. Sure, I haven't heard back from either one of them - but I'm hopeful. Although I wish I could afford to hire Sarah Richardson from Sarah's house. She is a genius!
23) Learn how to cook something that I don't normally cook (roasted vegetables don't count). Tofu. Kind of. Still perfecting it.
24) Read "The Pillars of the Earth". I'm on page 70. I started reading the YA book series, "The Uglies" instead. But I'll get back to this. I will!

I'm still super impressed. Better to aim for the stars and miss than aim for a pile of crap and hit dead on, yes?

Great job!

I started The Uglies too. I read the first three books, and I just have Extras left. Let me know what you think.

You are fabulous! If I'm being totally honest, that list was pretty daunting. I can't believe you completed as much as you did. You make the rest of us look bad. Way to go KT!

Krissy... FYI I bought a sony unit that transfers VHS to DVD. I just had to plug in my old VHS camera and it was pretty easy. I now use it to transfer over my SD camera cards and make DVDs. Works great. If you need more info e-mail me... (I looked into sending them out to costco or something but it was very expensive and what if they lost it)

WOW! That's a massive list and you actually got a bunch of it done! YAY! My list is still in my head for this month. You have inspired me to write it down. *maybe* I'll get something done that way.
Loved the Uglies series, BTW. Are you on goodreads?
