2. A shout out to Daniel E. for sharing THIS on facebook. Holy awesome music video. I watched it and just kept thinking, "there's no way that this could be real." But unfortunately, I think it is. But on the other hand - we we we so excited.
3. I may not accomplish everything on my March to do/birthday list. I'm working on it. Really, I am. I just wish I would have put down a few things like, "Watch Season 8 of 24 and The Bachelor" instead of "clean out garage."
4. I made some awesome homemade protein bars. Holy cow - delicious.
5. I may be addicted to playing word feud and words with friends on my phone. I'm so addicted I'm even crossing the boundary line of professor/friend by playing with some of my students. Don't judge until you've tried it.
6. I asked some of my classes to do midterm evaluations - one comment - "she's sarcastic, which is hysterical, but it sometimes borders a little bit rude." Ouch. I'm making a significant effort to be docile and kind for the rest of the semester. But I did just tell a student, after he explained his hard negotiation techniques, that "socially, I don't think those negotiations turn out as well as you think." In my defense - it is true.
7. At my parent's surprise birthday party we had a magician come and perform. It was truly "magical". But seeing his assistant peek out behind the curtain all night was probably the best part for me:

Kitty, you teaching anyone anything is a joke. Is that sarcasm or just rude? It's a tough mystery to solve, but I just taught you what's it's like being one of your students. You're welcome.
Good thing I'm not a teacher...I'd skip the evaluations. I wouldn't want to hear anything they had to say about me. :)
We excited too, but she says "Friiiiday" really wierd. The video sortof looks homemade. Oh well. I really, REALLY would love to come sit in on one of your classes sometime. Hmmm...I may add that to MY birthday to do list, though I don't really have one.
Krissi, why did the assistant keep coming around the corner? I just thought he wanted to see the magic happen. It was pretty funny that he kept peeking around the side like he had never seen the magic tricks before.
