tidbits of nothing

I had so much to blog about this morning . . . but now I've got nothing. Nothing. But that won't stop me from trying.

1) Who plans a Scout winter camp-out on a three-day weekend? Who? My husband - that's who. Lame.

2) This morning one of our Elder's was eating breakfast. What was he eating? Beef Top Ramen and a hot dog. Grossness. He said it reminded him of breakfast back at home. Ugh.

3) Our new gym allows us to work out with celebrities. Yesterday our group workout included BY royalty - the Bronco. I would like to say that we beat him. Nope he smoked Greg by 10 minutes and me by 11. Ouch. We'll get him next time. For the record - the workout was the toughest thing either of us have done in a long, long time.

4) Check out my Valentine's Day present:
Fancy Schmancy. One step closer to having the kitchen of my dreams. Provided that still means I don't have to cook all the time. Next up - that disgusting faucet.

For the record, I did not choose this date for the winter youth conference. Maybe KT should just come with us and experience the fun. You could just come up on Saturday for the sledding. Like a celebrity appearance. And yes, that was one of the most unappetizing breakfasts I have witnessed, but he loved it.

Bronco is a CrossFitter?!?!

Oh yeah, where is Todd's knitted goods? (you're welcome Todd)

WHAT THE FREAK...who is commenting under my name?? You can't go around using someone else's name as your nome de plume! I wish JB Fletcher was here to solve this mystery, but since she isn't I implore the culprit to come forward and explain him(or her)-self. This is just like that movie "The Roommate", which (although I won't be seeing it) I expect is the same plot as the hit 1992 film "Single White Female" starring A-list actresses Bridget Fonda and Jennifer Jason Leigh.

PS- (in Jeopardy style)
A: The things ToddCat has been waiting to receive for an overly excessive amount of time.
Q: What are "knitted goods"?

Toddcat - this certainly is a mystery. But then I think - maybe it is just Greg trying to get us good(?) But let's face it - we're just glad to have another commenter come out of the woodwork.

And seriously - I think the most interesting part about this post is the beef top ramen and hot dog for breakfast! Bless those 19 year olds and their stainless steel stomachs.

You're lover's day gift looks just lovely! And I'm a titch sick to my stomach thinking about that breakfast. Yuck!

I like this mystery Todd. I wish I had thought of it.

P.S. Actual Todd, The Roomate does seems SWF-esque. Also, I can't tell those two girls who are in it apart. Does that make me a racist?

Great dishwasher. Much better than the missionaries breakfast.

Super jealous of your dishwasher. We need a new one about 4 years ago. All the spoke thingies are breaking off and leaving a rusty mess all over everything. That PLUS no phosphates = some pretty gross Schofield dishes. I want to hear all about your cross fit obsession. My friend Krista is a crazy woman when it comes to that stuff. CRAZY. She lives in one of the Carolina's now though. Sad. You 2 would have loved eachother.

Oh Amy - the picture tricks you - it's just a dishwasher cover. It's the same ol' dishwasher. And that really is just what I wanted for Valentine's Day. I'm really that romantic.

The first Todd who commented about Bronco being a CrossFitter is a real Todd who resides in Chicago (me). Not sure about the second one asking about knitted goods...
