1) Some oven cleaning (that's what happens when you burn cupcakes)
3) Greg took the scouts snowshoeing (using my snow shoes! I certainly am asked to sacrifice a lot) while I used our fancy schmancy treadmill to run/jog while watching some "Parks and Recreation" - netflix is a beautiful thing.
4) I made this hideous looking dishcloth for the Toddcat so that he can no longer claim that I haven't awarded him his "prize"
5) Heard Condy speak at devotional/forum.
6) Lest you think this week has been all amazing - there have been some sore spots - spots which I won't really go in to because I'm not a complainer. Or at least I'm not a worldwide web complainer but if you call me I'll probably just start complaining my head off. Never mind - to comfort myself for all the "rough" spots - today I'm wearing my danskos to work. And so while the fashion world is thinking I look ridiculous - my feet are thanking me:
But you will be pleased to know (Toddcat and Kristal) that I haven't worn these shoes in so long that I actually had to dust them off.

PS I wish I had a treadmill in my house. Sometimes it's hard to make myself go to the gym when it's snowing.
Kitty, you told me you threw away those Danskos (aka fancy Crocs). I'm both disappointed and disgusted you are wearing them in public.
Also, I know you did not make that washcloth for me, but made it a long time ago and tucked it away because you couldn't bear to look at the hideous array of gaudy yarn. I want something made especially for me, not something old you dug up. Thanks for trying, but please try again.

I saw the fancy Crocs photo and gasped in disbelief. Then I saw the explanation, and I suppose I understand. Everyone has their own way of coping with rough spots, whether it be wearing clogs, or sitting on the couch. eating peanut butter out of the jar (like I've been doing this week.)
So I love that I now can go get a dose of 'Kitty & Ross' whenever I need a pick-me-up. Just thought you ought to know I'm watching (er...reading) you...you know, in case you want to leave out any inappropriate-ness. Naw!

I hate cleaning ovens--but not as much as I hate burnt cupcakes cause then either I don't eat cupcakes or I have to start all over. Unless I happened to live near the Cocoa Bean . . . . then maybe I would love burnt cupcakes. But honey, I tried to make them first . . . before spending 3 dollars on one cupcake. Alas, there would be no Cocoa Beans (or anything even akin to a bakery) here.
