Through the magic of YouTube, I am able to bring you the next entry in in my series of songs I would want with me if I were stranded on a desert island. My last pick was from the Smiths and this one is a bit older, but still out of England. It is Transmission by Joy Division. This was a bit of a troubled, but they made great music. From the opening bass line all the way to "dance, dance, dance to the radio" - it is a classic. Enjoy this with some Cream O' Weber Egg Nog.

I have to side with Kitty on this one. This is some weird music. Plus, everyone loves Angela Lansbury, except maybe all the murderers who have been put behind bars after she solved all those mysteries.
Kitty, we should start a Facebook petition to have a Murder, She Wrote made-for-TV-movie starring Ms. Lansbury and guest starring Meredith Baxter Birney as a jilted woman who murdered her husband. That would be ratings gold!
I had to listen to this again today thinking I should give it another chance. This time I feel like I want to move to that town in Footloose where they didn't allow music or dancing. Kevin Bacon would still be dancing solo if this is what he had to work with instead of Kenny Loggins. Sorry Ross.
