Can I just say that all that work last week was worth it? Well it was. We now have a delightful two weeks off.
Before our break we made a list of things we wanted to accomplish while on "hiatus" - unfortunately, Greg's list is prioritized differently than mine.
Here's mine:
1) Send out Christmas cards (check!)
2) Make and deliver neighbor gifts (partial check - we're in process!)
3) Paint the laundry room (not even close to a check - we don't even know what paint color)
4) Clean the house (partial check - this is because our roommate moved out - we, on the other hand, have not lifted a finger)
5) Clean the garage (not even close)
Here is Greg's prioritized list:
1) Sleep in (the other night he went to bed at 2:00 in the morning! Fool! - so yes, he is sleeping his heart out)
2) Watch all of season 3 of Chuck (it pains me to say this but he is doing a really good job powering through this one)
3) Clean off the dvr (again - he is working hard on this one)
4) Christmas shopping for Kitty (so maybe I added this one to his list)

I think that you guys are really ambitious. I couldn't even get my kids to sit still and watch a movie today during "Christmas Vacation," and that's all I've ever wanted.
Maybe this is just Greg's way of coping with his grief over the loss of your roommate?
