slippers - team jersey - some sort of hat that I think was NASCAR - and running/ski pants (because it "breaks the wind" on his scooter). The most surprising thing about this whole getup is that he is actually married. His wife must be a very patient woman. Very patient.

You need to tell him that just because he is married, that is no excuse for giving up.
Oh my gosh this totally made my day! I love that you made it anonymous, too. Poor handicapped man. :D
I, on the other hand, applaud this man's sense of both style and comfort. I frequently drop Lucy off at preschool in sweatpants and/or workout clothes. I was sick on Tuesday, and I was still in sweatpants at 2:30 when I picked her up. If only I had a scooter.
I'd really like to hear the conversation where you asked him if you could take his picture.
"Um, yeah, can I take a picture of you so I can totally make fun of you on my blog?"
Actually, knowing you it was probably a covert operation and he still doesn't know about it.
I love that you got him to let you take his picture!
You are too funny! Thanks for the laugh. And your experiences with your students crack me up. I can't believe someone fell asleep right outside of the class. Ha!
Well you know I don't like to judge people, but...
how is an April supposed to know what is proper work attire when he's seen his own boss show up in fancy Crocs? Obviously, he has learned his style from watching you. I think you should post a list (that I help create) of what is acceptable business casual and whoever shows up not meeting our standards has to wear a dunce hat all day. A fashionable dunce hat, of course.
PS- Lindy, I stongly feel you should never leave the house wearing sweatpants unless they have Juicy Couture written across the bum. Then it's totally classy.
