After attending the Fairview demolition derby, KT and I wished we had kept the Subaru a little longer to see how she could do. That car was the best. Just imagine it with welded doors, no muffler or glass and some paint. These American cars wouldn't be able to stand up to that superior Japanese steel. It leaked a little oil, but from what I saw of these cars, leaking fluids is a bonus. It just shows you are tough - and you are making your territory. This was one of the funnest things we did all summer.
The soob would have totally beat out XXX which went on to win the derby and almost won the wipe out at the end where they just keep going until only one car is still running. One word: Awesome.
So who's down for next year's derby? July 24th weekend 2011 - 5K run, parade, and derby. Who knows, we may even make it into a Carlklef Tri.

I just don't think that the Sube could have handled it. I mean that one car was in it to win it. No holds barred.
