Last night's windstorm got personal at my parent's house. In other news -
-last week I satisfied all my cle's for the year. Sweet!
-we have the beginnings of a fence
-we got started on the landscaping plan in our yard (we have a long ways to go)
-we finished listening to the book "The Lacuna" (we really liked it)
- i read the book "Lost Symbol" (don't bother)
- i used a lint tape roller to try and pick up all my hair on the carpet that a vacuum just doesn't get (it was completely disgusting)
-i charged my battery in my camera so that I might actually be able to post some real pictures (that's for you, Carrie).
-i went to Costco where i only spent $32.00 (it was a miracle and required GREAT self-control).
-we still are waiting to receive our fancy phones
-we watched a couple of episodes of "better off ted" courtesy of play it now on netflix - HIGHLY recommended (Lindy - that's for you)
and there you have it. pretty intense stuff.

Wow. Reading your blog is like reading a shopping list. I would prefer it if the blog was more like your diary where you wrote out your inner monologue with some juicy info instead of "today I vaccuumed and went to Costco." Even you have to make up some stories on the slow days, I'm ok with that.
I don't let myself get a shopping cart at Costco. That way, I can only buy what I can carry.
Sometimes I'm sore the next day.
I like your sassy (that's for Todd) leave caution to the wind lack of capitalization in this post. It says we are smart 30 somethings who do know how, but we have too many other awesome things to do. maybe i'll try that soon
You think you're so cool with your high quality play it now on Netflix. Has it ever occured to you that some of us can't get a decent stream?
P.S. The Mockingjay comes out tomorrow. I predict I'll find out what happens to Katniss before you, but I won't judge you because I know you have some serious pre-lawing to do.

The mess is still not cleaned up. We have had this tree company lined up since Mon. and they have been so busy doing other trees they haven't been able to get to ours. Ho hum, I just have to be patient. I loved it when you told me you had to hold onto the Costco shopping cart so tight so you would not take your hands off it and put something in your basket. Great restrain you have.
