1) Own room and bathroom (check)
2) Laundry facility they can use all on their own one day a week (check)
Since our house satisfied the requirements we decided to be awesome and volunteer. All week we've thought about what it would be like to have "roommates." This would mean the following:
1) Sleeping with the door closed
2) More "modest" wearing around the house attire (modest is hottest!)
3) We would have to actually make sure the a/c was on upstairs.
4) Probably fix more meals
Despite all these inconveniences - we went for it. However, we just got the call, apparently I am too much of a cougar - and can't be trusted alone with the missionaries.
Rarrrrrrrrr.

What does that mean? They are not coming? They are coming? That is so so so sweet of you to volunteer. Remind me to tell you about our neighbor's experience with this.
Kitty, you must be building quite a reputation at church to have missionaries turn you down. You should have put me down as a reference. We may not have been roommates, but we did work in the same office and that's pretty much the same thing.
They're not coming - the possibility of me being home alone doesn't work.
Uhhh, Carrie, do you think the rest of us don't want to hear about your neighbor's experience? I bet that story would make a great blog comment.
ToddCat makes an excellent point--the rest of us enjoy stories too.
Also, KT can you honestly look me in the eye and tell me you won't make a move? I didn't think so.
But I agree with Carrie--you will probably be translated for volunteering.
Translated for sure. I think you have forgotten about Elder F? Uh what if one of those moved in? You have moved up in the ranks of sainthood for volunteering. Of course you could have been a health nut hero by mixing up one of those vitamixer things every morning.
I think you majorly dodged a bullet there. Living with missionaries would be a special type of hell.
Krissi, you made it sound like the Stake Presidency asked you to do this. With you volunteering that is an entirely different story. I;ll bet you are relieved. Carrie, let us hear your story.
I wouldn't trust my 19 year old boy living with a woman that is sometimes referred to as "Kitty" either. Yikes!
