weekend recap

Enough with all these videos. The Carlklef's do more than just watch tv/movies. Sometimes.

This weekend was one of Greg's scout camps. You know what that means - I can do whatever I want. No rules! I was totally looking forward to living it up. I worked late (at least "late" for a Friday) - went to the gym - and on my way home planned what awesome things I was going to do. Much to my chagrin . . . I arrived home and found Greg's scout costume (I prefer costume not uniform) and hiking boots strewn along the floor. With no Greg in sight - I decided to give him a call. He informed me that his camp was cancelled and that I should go and visit him down the street - this is what I found:

Looks like a water line problem had occurred at the neighbor's/assistant scout man's house - and since Scouts do service first - campout cancelled.

The weekend, however, all was not lost. In fact, it was perfect. We got to hang out with awesome people (friends and family included) and we spontaneously went and saw Ben Folds at Deer Valley. Fantastic-o!

Crappy picture = awesome concert.

If Ross was servicing as a Scout then he probably should have been wearing his Scout costume while digging that ditch.

I hope that Ross's costume is the same one he wore when he was a scout. Ryan was the cubscout master a few years ago, and he shimmied himself right into his sixteen year-old self's costume.
