Today Greg left to go participate in the Ragnar Relay. I was supposed to do it with him - but the sunburn catastrophe of 2010 has left me a little under the running weather. Praise be that my brother was willing to step in and take my place. Because Greg will be running all sorts of legs at all different times of day - last night he decided to practice running with his headlamp on. Check it:
Also - we have decided that this giraffe that I am working on needs to go on a diet.

Ross looks like a coal miner with that head lamp on. I hope he wins the race so you can knit a doily for his trophy to sit on.
It interesting that you think that creature with no neck is a giraffe. Did I mention that it has no neck?
oh it has a neck - it's just not finished so you can't tell. Be patient!
I love both of those pictures like a brother. Make sure Ross knows that he doesn't look dweeby at all. That way he won't feel self-conscious. And that giraffe just needs a really big squeezy hug. It will deflate in no time.
my mom worked in the Medical tent for this race. She said she saw some pretty exhausted faces. Maybe Greg was one of them! Kuddos to him! I couldn't have survived!
P.S. Giraffes are supposed to be fat right?
