In honor of my
sister's b-day we hosted family dinner. It's always fun to have guests over - and apparently they enjoyed themselves too:

And since Haylee was visiting (sans Cory) my parents decided now was the perfect time to have a grandkid picture.

The final results may not have been the best - but it wasn't for lack of trying:

I don't want to name names, but some of those grandkids look happier to be in that photo than others.
PS- I will start naming names if people don't start blog commenting more. I can't be the only blog commenter on here. It's too much responsibility for one man to handle. Plus, sometimes I like to comment on your comments. Also, just think how unpopular Kitty and Ross must feel without dozens of comments on their blog. Now, I'm not asking you to do it for them or even for me. Do it for yourselves. It feels great sharing a comment, especially if it includes a zinger that gets someone good. So how 'bout it? Let's see some commenting. If I don't get volunteers I'll be calling you out by name because I know who's reading and not commenting. As my 6th grade teacher used to say, "that's not a threat, it's a promise!"
Looks like a photo with all of our nieces & nephews! Looks like a fun place to be. Still love your chalkboard in the bathroom!
I think that sometimes Toddcat's comments are so awesome people feel like they can't compete. It's not true - trust me - Toddcat's comments are not that awesome - yours is probably better.
I can't believe that ToddCat chose this forum to preach to us all. Unbelievalbe! You know I would rather walk on my lips than criticize, but... (ps this doesn't count as criticizing as per my game on-ing).
It looks like you guys really can host a party. And a murder? I hope not.
Lindy, if that is a veiled criticism of me then I don't understand it and I won't respond to it. But I will thank you and Johanna for stepping up to the plate and taking a swing at commenting. You both hit a homerun!
Kitty- I hear you loud and clear. I will reduce my commenting awesomeness and allow others to shine.
Are you now going to be a super supportive commenter? I've never seen this side of you before. Did someone stage an imposition?
Yes, Lindy, I am now (as always) super supportive. I've had my time in the sun and now I'm ready to pass the torch to this season's Next Top Blog Commenter. Do you have what it takes to be awesome? You just need to believe in yourself and you can do anything....even blog comment.
I like the idea of the chalkboard but then my OCD kicked in. Do they use the chalk before or after the deed. I know, now you are going to need to sanitize the chalk for me when I come over.
