evaluations

I hate evaluations. I don't know why but I just do. Let me take that back - I do know why. I mean no one wants to be told that they are doing a crappy job . . . right? So I just read my student-professor feedback from last semester. I got decent reviews, however, there is one person in my book club class and my constitutional research class that described me as "somewhat poor." So now I'm sitting here trying to figure out - who would say that? (I think I've figured it out and to be honest her/his comments and contributions were somewhat poor . . . so what do you expect?) But still - why is it that it is almost human nature to look at that one negative comment and disregard all the positive ones? You don't have to answer that - I'm just thinking out loud (or thinking out blogging).

I'll get to more exciting posts later - so look forward to "painting the bathroom" and "what happens when the keynote speaker doesn't show up at your big event" and "how to make vegetable soup stock (currently in the crock pot as I type this)."

I was really down about my last evaluations too from the U. Turns out the one really critical one was from Lauren. Overshadowed everything else. I get it.

What the.....why are you doing a presentation on joints? Suddenly you two are like Cheech and Chong giving lessons on how to roll a doobie.

Carrie, Lauren was just keepin' it real.

I would give you "superior" in everything. And then I would fill out an extra evaluation just to up your numbers.

I hate that feeling. How you can hear a billion great things and then one kind of negative thing stick in your head. I guess not every one can have awesome judgement, right?

Wettervorhersage is a set of all the phenomena occurring in a given atmosphere at a given time. Most weather phenomena occur in the troposphere, just below the stratosphere. Weather refers, generally, to day-to-day temperature and precipitation activity, whereas climate is the term for the average atmospheric conditions over longer periods of time. When used without qualification, "weather" is understood to be the weather of Earth.

Hello.

A bank is a financial institution that accepts deposits and channels those deposits into lending activities. Banks primarily provide financial services to customers while enriching investors. Government restrictions on financial activities by bank vary over time and location. Bank are important players in financial markets and offer services such as investment funds and loans. In some countries such as Germany, banks have historically owned major stakes in industrial corporations while in other countries such as the United States bank are prohibited from owning non-financial companies. In Japan, banks are usually the nexus of a cross-share holding entity known as the keiretsu. In France, bancassurance is prevalent, as most banks offer insurance services (and now real estate services) to their clients.

The level of government regulation of the banking industry varies widely, with countries such as Iceland, having relatively light regulation of the banking sector, and countries such as China having a wide variety of regulations but no systematic process that can be followed typical of a communist system.CLICK HERE
