So for this year, one of my resolution's is/was to do a "be creative" challenge every week. You know - do something creative-like - maybe even crafty (maybe). However, because our kitchen/family room currently looks like this:
I am giving myself a "pass" for the week. Or I could count "painting the ceiling white" as my "be creative" accomplishment for the week. I was hoping to do something a little bit more . . . I don't know . . . fun. But I guess I'll count it.

Wow! 2010 seems to be building up to be a lot like 2009....full of shattered hopes and dreams of what an exciting year it could have been. Although I am glad to see you are keeping the 90's alive with that halogen lamp.
Getting everything covered with that obnoxious plastic is DEFINITELY creative.
Why can't painting count as a creative project? I'm not sure I understand the parameters of your goal here.
