For today our big plan was to attend Mr. Drake's eight year old birthday party and go to a live nativity. Here are the results:
Nothing says Christmas like going down a gigantic slide with a nephew dressed as a pirate/Santa Clause. I think, by the looks of it, Greg agrees.Additionally, the surprise and probably the best thing for the month (and I'm not kidding Haylee - it totally totally totally made our December) was the visit from Haylee and her two munchkins. I mean honestly, who can resist these people?
Obviously, Charlotte cannot resist me (even when I wear horizontal stripes) and Ezra cannot resist the delicious birthday cake.
This was also followed up by seeing another nephew, Druex, dressed in one of my knitted wares - you know how that fills me with delight.
To top it off - after the gigantic slide birthday festival we then attended a live nativity that consisted of us freezing our katookis off while holding nieces and nephews so they could pet the camels/sheep/and chicken and then finally making it inside to a truly amazing display. So far - delightful December is going well.

I do love a huge blow-up slide!
They way you decribed that live nativity with all the animals you make it sound like it was in your back yard.
Ross sure seemed to enjoy sliding down that giant rainbow slide...
