I know I'm behind - again - and the awesome post I was going to do about yesterday's December delight is going to have to be postponed because I forgot my camera cord to upload the pictures. I'm sure no one is waiting with baited breath so it should be okay.
Keeping up with this delightful December . . . here goes:
Thursday - we had a holiday swim in the Gold's Gym pool (we probably contracted some disease but I have faith that there is enough chlorine in that thing to kill just about anything). We are working on becoming better swimmers - so we thought this would be a fun thing to do. If we're honest about it . . . it was just alright.
Friday - my office staff Christmas party. White elephant gifts with a bunch of 20 year olds - and Greg wore his Santa hat the whole time and looked utterly ridiculous. I think I lost a lot of respect. A lot.
Saturday - we went to see 500 days of Summer - which is technically not a Christmas film but in this cold weather it was nice to be reminded about Summer - except it was nothing about the season.
Sunday - this was a double dipper - First, the workhorse hosted her "favorite things" for her daughters. Let me tell you this . . . I left with a boatload of new items to try out and see if they become my favorite things. It's pretty awesome. We followed this up with "Christmas in the Grove" a Christmas concert starring Greg's mom. Alright, she was just in the choir - but it was good - and very festive of us.

Kitty, you are wrong. We are all waiting with baited breath and we really need to know what you gave and what you got as a white elephant gift. Also, what are your mom's favorite things this year? I think you need to have me start editing your posts before you post them, becuase you are leaving a lot of holes in them and that leaves your readers wondering "what the freak?!?"
Oh Toddcat - there were so many favorite things this year I really can't even begin to list them all. Hopefully my mom will check out this post and start listing them (pretty please?)

A holiday swim is really stretching it don't you think? I am proud of you for swimming though--I just don't have the energy to try to improve in that area.
