garage gratitude

Now that it is getting to be cold/winter I am reminded of how awesome it is and how grateful I am for a garage. It really is a delight to not have to walk outside and scrape the car off before driving. Instead we simply get right into the car and we are on our way. This is the first time we've ever had such a luxury and for someone who is prone to coldness - especially in the car - it is fantastic.

I sure hope that next time you drive the car you remember to open the garage door BEFORE driving through it. That said - I'm in total agreement about the joy of finally having a garage. So much better than paying $125 / month for a spot in an open parking lot - or trying to find street parking on Sangamon.

So extremely jealous, I am.

I still feel grateful for my garage. Six years on Roosevelt Avenue still haven't worn off.

Unfortunately, I have backed out of the garage with it closed. In my parents' suburban shortly after getting my license.

Lucky you you're not ghetto like us.
Two car garage
Zero cars that run parked inside.

Nice.

That is so funny looking at that garage. It reminds me of the e-mail I got where some house was totally lit up for Christams and the one next door just had in lights "DITTO". Since I have sprained my ankles that's what I feel like saying instead of decorating my house. Love you!
