still not dead

So we're still not dead. But man oh man am I tired. I have about a bajillion emails in my inbox but I think I'm just going to pack up and go home.

But while I'm busy recuperating from busy-ness I'll leave this with you . . .

I wish I could say that this is shocking but um I have kind of seen people like this. Just a few but enough - (For example, I just got an email that said, "Please respond to my email before you leave work this evening" [from a student NOT my boss or anything] - um no - I'm working on e-mails but I'm answering them in the order received and let's face it - nothing makes me want to not answer an email like some college student telling me that I have to.)

P.S. for the record I sent this to Lindy NOT the other way around - as I'm sure she'd like many people to believe

i read the story and was shocked, but then not really shocked because i remember getting similar emails from "trouble" students we had interning at law firms....ahhh, the joys of working with college students :)

(gotta love Gen. Y and the whole "self-entitlement" deal...)

I can't believe you would try to take credit for my find!
