August of Awesome - Spectacular September

Our aim was high with the August of Awesome. Really high. However, the other day Toddcat reminded me that my blog posts were less than awesome - which seemed to make him think that maybe August was not being as awesome as I had led everyone to believe. After thinking about it - I disagree.

In the August of Awesome my cupboard improved:

We (finally) moved into the fancy master bedroom with the fancy master bathroom (I should take some pictures but there are still a few details to finish it up).

We watched all of House (season 4). (We have our priorities).

We finally keyed in the garage code so that we can actually open the garage without the garage door opener.

For our pretty new niece - I made this blanket (we have yet to send it but we are highly doubtful that Zack and Shannon will be checking our blog anytime soon - so I really don't think this is going to spoil the surprise):

And to commemorate our move from Chicago to P-town and that it was my year anniversary here at the BY and the first day of school - we did something that I have never done. We hiked the "Y". That's right - we have decided to embrace our "cougar-ness" (if I could put sound-effects in the blog you would now hear the grrrr grrrr of the coug).

With all that you may think - what more could you do? But we have a list a mile long of things we want/need to be doing (I also need to take a picture of this list) and so we, after a family meeting, have decided to extend our August of Awesome into Spectacular September. Really - the party just never stops.

"we have decided to embrace our "cougar-ness" --- I didn't realize you were that much older than Greg.

Shana, trust me when I say you don't wish you were there. Kitty would put you to work painting or weeding or cleaning while she and Ross are off hiking and knitting and trying their best to be spectacularly awesome.
