I'm feeling so confident from the successful bathroom remodel, that I've decided it's time to take it to the next level. Actually to the next galaxy. I have had my eye on this awesomely awesome project for months. Now that I have the official plans, my dream of a y-wing fighter guest bedroom will become a reality. Can you believe there is a twin bed up there? Fantastic. This will totally make up for yet another birthday/Christmas/valentines day/anniversary where I didn't receive the Chewbacca backpack I deserve. What do you think?Check out more pictures of our future guest room here. This is going to be SO cool . . .

whoa - um this will take quite a bit of time.
Wow, Ross. Kitty is one lucky lady to have a husband that would want to build her a dream room like that. She'd better start braiding her hair into some Princess Leia side buns now so she's all set to go. Oh, this would be the perfect room for her to wear that Luke Skywalker sweater she insisted on buying at Banana Republic a few years ago.
For the record - you MADE me buy that sweater at BR. I really doubt your taste in fashion.
Kitty, no one made you buy that sweater and you have gotten a lot of compliments on it. It's a great look!
Dude, go for it! I have been looking at ways to make the boys room look like the millenium falcon interior. So far we have only got far enough to paint some of it dark grey. Sometimes I walk around their room and dream of cool things to build into it, but unfortunately the time and motivation are both scarce.
Then you need to make another room either under the sea or very center of the earth theme. Otherwise your house will be way off balance.
That is a really good point, Lindy. The house does need balance -- maybe your office/den could be patterned after the conference room on the Death Star. Then you'd be balancing good and evil -- and the negative aura of the office might help me beat KTC at Scrabble.
