I'm selling out . . .

So I just read this article (about people who post reviews on their blogs and then get all sorts of free stuff sent to them to then try out and hopefully post a "positive" review). Sure, typically these sites have about 60,000 unique hits a day but I'm sure I can convince people (meaning "advertisers" and "product placers") that our loyal three followers are practically 60,000 and this is really enough to justify sending me free stuff and then I can review it and it and voila - I have a great side job and I get a lot of free stuff. So here goes:

I really like this self-tanner (by Jergens). It goes on nice and it doesn't really streak - last year my tries at self-tanning resulted in my legs looking like a spotted leopard.

I really like this mascara (Diorshow iconic). But it's so [@#$@#$] expensive. For someone who has blonde eyelashes putting on about one thousand coats of mascara a day can just result in this:

But not with this mascara. I might have to purchase some more. Unless those people at Dior read this blog (which let's face it, I'm sure they do).

I also really, really, really, really like whiteboards. The whole thing - the smell of the markers the way they are so easy to write on. You know. So I totally recommend them to all our faithful readers.

So now - like all those helpful blogs I pose a question to all the faithful readers - what are some of your favorite summertime products? (Just so you know - I expect at least 350 comments. At least).

Before I can give my endorsement to the aforementioned brand of mascara I'm going to need to see your eye, with the fancy mascara, next to the gross one you have already posted.

Also, if you sent me samples of your knitting I would be happy to give a review of your work.

Oh KT, you're supposed to giveaway these things on your blog, and THEN the free stuff starts rolling in.

So, I'll take the mascara. And, like Toddcat, some knitted wonders (oh wait, you already did that giveaway).

My favorite summertime product has become YoZone frozen yogurt because it is close enough for Jane and I to walk, and because frozen yogurt is apparently the cool thing to do in Provo.

I love fresh strawberry shakes from Iceberg. Speaking of strawberries, I also love the strawberries and cream from the PG rodeo. Even though I missed it this year, a great summertime treat. I also love anything BBQ - especially the BBQ salad dressing at Sweet Tomatoes that they sometimes have in July. For some reason I'm getting hungry.

Maybe I need to post a review of our painting/remodel tools and materials in the hopes of getting some free stuff.

I love snow cones. I don't really care where they are from. I also love the smell of sunscreen. It reminds me that I am outside playing. Unlike Matty, I don NOT want to eat it.

So many people love snowcones, and me as well, but if you buy a machine that shaves the ice, all you have to do is put a scoop of ice cream in the bottom of the glass, put shaved ice and then the syrup, its delicious.
