keepin' it real

I decided that for posterity we better document what it is like to get ready in the morning. When we bought the farm there was not one mirror in the house. Not one. Apparently the previous owners were adamant that they take those bathroom mirrors with them. We have been slow to buy mirrors simply because a) we are slow and b) we want to paint and change the bathrooms a bit so why buy a mirror and hang it up only to take it down in two months (or 14 months when we get around to fixing up the bathroom). So we decided to be smart - we found a mirror that we have always had (I think it was the workhorses's and she was getting rid of it so she gave it to me about a bajillion years ago) and we hung it up on an already provided nail. And voila - here is what it looks like (sorry it is such a crappy picture):

and just so you can truly picture it - here is what it looks like when Greg tries to "do" his hair in the morning:

Just say it - we are the epitome of class. The absolute definition. Next up - I'll show what our "bedroom" looks like.
*Keep in mind when you see the "after" you'll think - oh those two - it was all worth it (hopefully - and hopefully there will be an "after" shot)

The funny thing is that we have a real mirror sitting in the hall waiting to be hung or at least leaned up against the bathroom wall. We ARE slow . . .

um, can you not lean the other mirror against the wall over the sink? I mean, Ross' hair looks great, but imagine how much better it would look in big mirror.

Since you have to get all new mirrors I think it would be cool to get all fun house mirrors. It would be, as the name suggests, FUN! Just think about it.

You guys are too funny! I agree with Todd, can't you just lean the big one up in the bathroom? Granted it wouldn't be as funny, but a whole lot more practical.

All I have to say is I can't believe you did a post on mirrors. As only someone on the inside track would know, this topic has been overly discussed lately.

so funny. I can so relate. You just get used to stuff the way it is and who cares after a while. Like the ten million boxes surrounding me. I have enough unpacked to survive, why bother!
