While walking into work this morning I saw this:
Well I didn't really see Dwight Schrute but I did see a man wearing a short-sleeved shirt and a tie. You know what? It is NEVER that hot outside to justify wearing such a thing. It just isn't. There was one summer where Ross tried to convince me that it was perfectly acceptable and that I was the only one that thought it was -u-g-l-y. I waffled and the one time he did wear it (at church - NEVER to work) - someone made fun of him for it - to his face. And he finally believed me that maybe it wasn't the best look. I wanted to tell that man that he should go home and change but I didn't. Instead I will just post this fashion tip on the blog and hope that he might come across it. Or that maybe his wife will see this tip and help him out.

Kitty, for once you are completely right.
I'm still mad at Shana for making fun of me like that. I was just trying to fit in and be cool (both literally and figuratively). Next time I wear my white, short-sleeve shirt it will also be with matching suspenders, tie, and socks. Watch out.
Maybe you could wear it with your manpris and some Crocs.
I'm also looking for a nice vest and fedora-style hat to go along with it. Kind of like J. Timberlake meets D. Schrute.
Finish that off with a popped collar and I think you're on to something Ross.
When I look at this from a man's point of view, I feel sorry for them. I can't even wear 3/4 sleeve in the summer.
I have had the same conversation/fight with Robbie, myself . . . good thing they have us. Heavens.
Wow--I had no idea I was so out of touch on this. I guess I will just be more Dwight-like. Viva short-sleeves and ties!
I'm not a fan of short sleeve shirts at all. Of course, my husband loves them. I'm giving him credit though, I've never seen him bust one out with a tie.
Normally, I think you have a pretty good fashion sense, but you are wrong about this one.
You obviously haven't lived in Southern Arizona!!!!!!
