I have a laundry room that is divine. Seriously. It has floor to ceiling cabinets, a sink, an ironing spot, a place to hang up all the clothes, and a fan. So yes, that's great. But I now have the problem that I do loads of laundry and simply pull the clothes out of the dryer and have them sit on the floor. For days. This was something that I would never do in Chicago - there just wasn't room for it. But now . . . Last night I found myself watching Veronica Mars and folding approximately 12 loads of laundry. This bad habit needs to stop. For clarification - Not the watching tv part but the piling part.

I don't have a huge luxurious laundry room, and I still let loads and loads of clean laundry pile up that I finally get fed up with, usually on Thursday nights, and just fold and fold until our bed is covered top to bottom. So, I guess, I can't judge you.

I also pile laundry on the bed, thinking that I will have to fold it before we go to bed. Well that never happens it just gets moved to the couch, and then in the morning back to the bed. You see the cycle. Who does this, why don't I just fold it?

I think folding laundry is a good excuse to sit in front of the TV for a while.

Having a separate laundry room does lend itself to just throwing things in there and forgetting it. I can't wait till we get our closet finished . . .

Okay--but you should also qualify that the photo is a fake. I have never seen you in that green top with the flowers on it.

I like to pile them on the washer and dryer. The higher the better.

I hear you! I have lots of wonderful counter space and I find myself dumping load upon load on the counters until there is no room left. Then I drag it all into my room and watch a movie while I fold. Maybe I do it on purpose so I have a reason to sit down and watch a little something. :)

Um, are you telling us that you dump CLEAN clothes on the FLOOR??? I am disgusted and appalled by the thought of such grossness. And don't try to tell me your laundry room floor is so clean you could eat off of it. No floor is ever clean enough to eat off of or put clean laundry on, in my humble opinion.
