we bought the farm

Good news - it looks like the third time really is the charm - we put in an offer (this is the third time we have done such a thing) and finally . . . finally a bank has accepted us to be owners of their precious foreclosed property. Because this said property is in West P*town - SWEET- we like to think that we bought the farm. Especially because there appears to be a somewhat functioning farm in our backyard. Complete with cattle. We're hoping for free fertilizer for our garden.

Oh, Congratulations, Carlklefs!!!! Kitty, I see you being just like Eva Gabor in the hit TV show Green Acres, bringing your signature style to rural Utah. I think it will be fun for everyone to buy you livestock as house (or farm) warming presents. You could even make extra money selling milk, eggs, and home-churned butter. YUM!

Yay, congratulations! I'll be keeping my eye out for you and your goods at the local farmer's market, for sure!

What's your ETA?

this is not small news. HUGE! I can't wait to visit, maybe you should set up a small petting farm business in the back.
