random musings

1) Our basement is a mess. We continue to pull our underwear out of the clean clothes pile on the floor. Apparently our life is too difficult to put things away.

2) I really would love to just curl up and take a morning nap right now.

3) I like looking at Anthropologie's clothes. I do. But I have never brought myself to buy something from that store - partly because of price - partly because sometimes I think that Anthropologie is just Chico's for the younger folk. There I said it. But if someone gave me a gift certificate to that store (in a large amount because really nothing is cheap there unless it looks and feels cheap) I would totally spend it.

4) We locked in our mortgage rate. Don't be jealous but our rate is about 2% lower than the rate we had on our Chicago loft. I'm not happy about the economy but I'll take the low interest rate.

5) I'm reading a great book right now - "The Graveyard Book" totally interesting. It's children's lit - which means I may need to start a book club with my nieces.

6) Shana had her baby. YAY! That's all I know. If anyone has more details - I'm dying for them.

7)One more thing - I made this image in the photoshop class that I am taking. I'm sure everyone will want to use it for postcards and such.

Oooh, I'm reading The Graveyard Book, too! Can I join the niece book club?

Kitty rudely deleted my comment so I will repost it now.

I have more info on #6: Adam is claiming it is also his baby, but I am waiting for Montel to reveal the paternity test results.

(If you read this first Ross' comment makes more sense.)

Silly Toddcat, we all know Maury does the paternity testing.

And who knew that we could be so lucky to score a 9.5% interest rate on a mortgage! I'm thrilled, and Mr. Madoff assures us that our house will be free and clear in only 5 years. It's the same deal he made for celebrities.

Yay for the interest rate, the book, and Shana's new baby! I'm reading Sense and Sensibility, and I'll admit it is leaving me with a gaping whole where Harry and Hermione should be. Can someone please write another Harry Potter? What about you, Toddcat? It can be your new job.

Oh I know I miss Harry Potter too. Seriously--I think it is the most perfect book series. I am jealous of Ross because he has yet to even read them. I wish I hadn't read them yet and then I could start right now. My book, "Elegance of the Hedgehog" just isn't doing it. Maybe I need the Graveyard book. I guess I need to get another Amelia Peabody.
