You probably didn't even know we were gone - but we were. We did a quick va-cay to Orlando. We met up with Laurie S. and the Toddcat for some good times. I would post pictures but I think I only took one or two pics and one of them is totally blurry (riding on the "safari" leads to jostling photos). Highlights of the trip?1) Ross ate a cuban. Well alright, Ross ate a cuban sandwich. And he is still talking about it.
2) HGTV - I watched this on the plane - there and back. It was like I was addicted. I need a break from seeing people demolish their rooms and then fixing everything for $500.
3) Laurie S. is fantastic for putting up with me and Toddcat - Ross relished being able to share his "misery."
I've been racking my brain to think of more highlights. I can't. Oh except one more thing - Ross freaked out that we wouldn't have enough sunblock and we totally did.

The only thing I ever watch (besides "The Office", of course) is HGTV. For some reason I can't get enough of "House Hunters International" and "Designed to Sell". Then again I do come from a family that moved every year or so while I was growing up. . . ahhh, it's all starting to make sense to me now!
I'm glad you had enough sunblock and that you could return inspired by HGTV. Even more excited about Greg's Cuban sandwich. I'm sure it was hard to return home after all of that fun. Welcome back!
While we each had a lot of fun, Ross really had an amazing time on this trip. To say Ross ate a Cuban sandwich doesn’t begin to cover it. Kitty, Laurie, and I basically witnessed him have an out-of-body experience with what seemed like a simple sandwich, but to Ross was like manna from heaven. He really could not stop going on about it. Luckily, we won’t have to rely on fading memories of that meal because Ross then proceeded to take pictures of his amazing sandwich. I think it was at that point that I began to feel uncomfortable as though I was watching something far too personal for anyone to see.
Ross also went on and on about a shopping mall he had visited by himself before I arrived. It was not just a standard mall. Per his frequent reports it had a JC Penny, a Nordstom’s, a Dillard’s, a Neiman Marcus….etc, etc….plus a hotel RIGHT IN THE MALL!!!! It sounded legendary.
One night Ross got to visit a Lego Store and the next day got to go on some Star Wars fantasy ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We witnessed a Jedi training class for kids that appeared to be limited to those less than 40 inches tall. I really think Ross would have cut his legs off if it would get him into that class. Oh well, “that’s Hollywood!”
Sounds like you guys really lived it up--that's what I like to see. Even if Toddcat is too blase about some things...
Sounds like a fun trip. I hope good ol' Provo isn't too boring for you now. Where is the house you guys found? When will we start being able to invite you guys over for dinner?
